PATTERN DIMENSIONS - Nomad Jacket by Lois Ericson

The following information is provided to help determine how much kimono fabric is needed for specific patterns.  Since kimono fabric is never more than 14" wide, it's necessary to know the dimensions of each pattern piece (vs. using the yardage requirements for 44" or 54" wide fabric).  Here's the approach:

1. Determine which pattern pieces will feature kimono fabric.

2. Select from Kimono Panels for Sale, and note dimensions of each panel.

3. Determine your size, and use the chart below to identify how much kimono fabric is needed.  Dimensions are provided only for the smallest and largest sizes, so you may have to calibrate a bit to find the specific amount for your project.
