Now and Zen Shirt by The Sewing Workshop
My sample features the Zen Shirt, which is mid-hip length and has an unusual two-layer collar detail.
Using solid black silk broadcloth, this garment illustrates how a solid colored fabric can be transformed
with paintstiks. I created a dramatic fabric, then decided it was a bit too dramatic to be used for
the entire shirt. Problem solved by using it on one side front only, and creating a coordinating fabric
for the rest of shirt in the same colors of red, gold, and grey. Click here for
